There is an epidemic of men out here, who honestly feel like they don’t have to do little or much to impress women. WRONG! Quite contrary to male beliefs, women don’t require a lot of maintenance ALL the time, in fact if men would plan activities for their girlfriends and prospective suitors more often, they’d hear less complaints about the value of the experience at hand. Women are designed to be stimulated mentally first, always, and I do mean ALWAYS! Even if you’ve noticed a select few that can just about work themselves up in that way, but trust me it all begins inside the mind. We women are designed like this:

If you give a woman plans to look forward to for the weekend, she’ll resonate on those plans for the entire week, making her all the more happy to see you at the end of the week: she’ll pick out her clothes, match up her accessories, and mentally prepare herself to be swept up off her feet. There is no longing or desire when men say, “this weekend I want to take you to ____________ , we’re going to have a blast, but first I need you to call and find out how much it will cost and if they have any available reservations” How  romantic is that? If you’re trying to woo a woman this way, you’re going about it all wrong! Remember the part in the bible that said that women are supposed to be submissive? Now don’t get me wrong, this is 2010, and there are millions of well accomplished women, but guess what? We WILL submit to the right things, like this:

“This weekend, I want to take you to away, I’ve already booked the trip and I can’t wait to see the expression on your face when we get there.  I don’t want to take up too much of your time, but be prepared to have a fun filled, romantic weekend, just you and I, and make sure you pack a swimsuit.” Doesn’t that sound better? Gentleman, you will get so much further with a little preparation on your part and the element of surprise.

It’s really not about the dollar amount attached to the experience; it’s about how much thought goes into it. These are some really tough economic times, but you’ve got to think and think hard about these women and what kind of cerebral experiences you can give them with little to no cost at all. There is nothing like it for a woman to be introduced to something she’s never seen or heard of before, it makes you look well rounded, you’ll definitely impress her, and brownie points, oh trust- you’ll get them! Its summer time, there are street festivals galore, the parks are open, museums have special entry fees on certain days, heck- ask other women what they’d want to do on a date night, and I can almost guarantee you’ll get some really good ideas. If for some reason, this woman is still not impressed with your creative efforts, then she’s obviously not the one, and then give me a call, and I can link you up with a few good ones I know.

Friday Night Lights Review

Luke may have been the Lions player to leave tonight’s episode with a hip flexor, but he was far from the only casualty on an installment aptly titled “Injury List.”

First, of course, there was Tami, who seemed utterly taken aback by the notion that she did anything wrong. This is someone whose number-one trait is her empathy – and here was a school board, prompted by Luke’s mother, that wanted to punish her for being empathetic.

As the incredible Connie Britton conveyed, Tami wasn’t even riled up by this injustice; she was simply in shock over it. You could read the thoughts in her mind, as she didn’t even celebrate the maintaining of her job. How can anyone question my intentions here?!?
Then, there’s Eric. He wasn’t there for his wife at the conclusion of the episode because he was experiencing a different kind of emotion: guilt.

Luke may have been hiding his injury, but Eric knows it’s his job to know everything that’s going on with his football team. He missed this one, and it didn’t just cost the Lions a game. It could cost Luke a shot at his scholarship. READ THE REST OF THIS ARTICLE

Michael – the father of incarcerated actress Lindsay – was charged by the Southampton Police Department and will be formally arraigned on August 18, according to gossip website TMZ.

It relates to an apparent violent showdown between Michael and Kate Major at their home in Southampton, New York, on Monday.

If he does not appear for his arraignment a judge is allowed to issue a bench warrant for his arrest.

Michael, 50, denies all of the accusations made by Kate and has released a statement, via his attorney Lisa Bloom, which says: “Michael Lohan 100 percent denies each and every one of Kate Major’s allegations.

He has never threatened to harm her, never assaulted her, and never physically abused her in any way.

“Kate was heavily intoxicated during the verbal argument between Michael and Kate in the early afternoon on Monday. Michael Lohan has been clean and sober for six years.

“Michael Lohan is fully cooperating with the police investigation. No charges have been filed. He expects to be fully vindicated.”

Former magazine reporter Kate claims he threw her off a chair and kicked her in the face during an argument and has reportedly filed a restraining order which will prevent her ex-partner from contacting her or going anywhere near her.

Simon Cowell being sued for being Retarded

by Charles Christmas ( The Owner ) on July 24, 2010 · 0 comments

The world’s favourite nasty judge Simon Cowell is being sued for $5.2 million  by a former contestant on Britain’s Got Talent, according to British press reports.

Cowell and his TV show are being sued by contestant Emma Amelia Pearl Czikai, who claims she was humiliated and degraded on the show in a broadcast in May 2009.

Czikai first lodged her complaint of unfairness and discrimination with a British employment tribunal in January.

The tribunal action emerged in the press following a pretrial review at the central London tribunal court.

Czikai, representing herself, accused the show and its judges of “exploitation, humiliation, degradation and barbarism”.

She also claimed the show was guilty of disability discrimination because it had not made adjustments for her, such as lowering the level of backing music and microphone levels.

Czikai said: “This program makes a select number of rich people very, very rich on the backs of the ordinary man and woman in the street through exploitation, humiliation, degradation and a re-emergence of modern-day barbarism with all its inherent cruelty.”

The one-time nurse reportedly told the tribunal she suffers from cervical spine neuritis, which can cause head and shoulder pain, which in turn caused her singing to suffer.

The pretrial review, which will decide if a full hearing will go ahead, was told that she was seeking £300,000 for injured feelings, compensation of $1 million and loss of earnings of $1.25 million.

She said if she was awarded any money, it would go to charity.

Czikai had previously lodged a complaint with the British media regulator Ofcom that she was unfairly treated on the show. The complaint was rejected.

Casey Affleck sued for sexual harassment

by Charles Christmas ( The Owner ) on July 24, 2010 · 0 comments

in NEWS

Casey Affleck’s upcoming documentary about Joaquin Phoenix has dropped a bombshell $2 million lawsuit on the filmmaker/actor, claiming she was subjected to lurid sexual harassment and denied her producing fee after she refused to spend the night in a hotel room with him.

Amanda White alleges in a lawsuit filed Friday afternoon in Los Angeles Superior Court that she was forced to endure debauched behaviour during production of I’m Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix, including “uninvited and unwelcome sexual advances in the workplace” and an impromptu shoot in a Las Vegas hotel room filled with hookers and transvestites.

White, who worked on Good Will Hunting with Affleck and his brother, actor/filmmaker Ben Affleck, and later collaborated with producer Chris Moore on several projects, says she agreed orally to a US$50,000 fee to help produce the unconventional documentary about the attempts of actor Phoenix (Affleck’s brother-in-law) to reinvent himself as a rap artist. But the offensive behaviour allegedly began almost immediately.

“On one occasion, Affleck instructed a crew member to take off his pants in order to show (White) his penis, even after (White) objected,” the complaint alleges. “Affleck repeatedly referred to women as ‘cows’; he discussed his sexual exploits and those of other celebrities that he allegedly witnessed; and asked (White), after learning her age, ‘Isn’t it about time you get pregnant?’”

The complaint also says White was prevented from going to her bedroom during shooting in Costa Rica because “Affleck and Phoenix locked themselves in her bedroom with two women.” According to the lawsuit, “Affleck also attempted to manipulate (White) into staying in a hotel room with him, and when she resisted, he grabbed her in a hostile manner in an effort to intimidate her into complying.”

A rep for Affleck, who is married to Summer Phoenix, declined to comment on the lawsuit. Neither Joaquin Phoenix nor Magnolia Pictures, which recently picked up distribution rights to the film and plans to release it in September, is named as a defendant in the suit.

ONE OF SEVERAL

The case signals a recent Hollywood trend of sorts. Thursday, actor David Boreanaz and Bones producer Twentieth Television were sued for sexual harassment by a female extra on the show. That case comes on the heels of Nicollette Sheridan’s US$20 million assault and harassment lawsuit against ABC Studios and Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry, which ABC is vigorously defending.
Ad Feedback

White includes this tale of what she and female cinematographer Magdalena Gorka allegedly endured:

“One afternoon, (White) produced a shoot at the Palazzo Hotel where Phoenix performed a set as a rap artist,” the complaint reads. “Following the set, Affleck told (White) that he and Phoenix wanted to shoot another sequence in their hotel suite that evening. (Affleck) procured the services of several prostitutes, including male transvestites, for the evening shoot. (White) was not aware of what Affleck planned for that shoot.”

Then, when White and Gorka arrived at the shoot, “there were approximately 35 people at the hotel suite including prostitutes that had been procured for Affleck,” according to the lawsuit.

Judging by the pre-release press and Phoenix’s infamous February 2009 David Letterman appearance, during which he alternated between unresponsive and incoherent, it’s not surprising that production of the film would include some odd and offensive behaviour. But White says that “none of the conduct that occurred in the hotel suite is in the version of the film that will be released to the public.” Instead, she believes that Affleck orchestrated the shoot “for his personal gratification and unfairly subjected (White) and Gorka to the conduct involving the prostitutes for reasons having nothing to do with the purpose of the project.”

STRONG-ARMING ALLEGED

The complaint doesn’t reveal exactly what went on in the hotel. But it does discuss an alleged encounter between White and Affleck when the production moved to San Francisco.

She says Affleck asked her to share a hotel room with him, and when she declined and told Affleck she needed to return to Los Angeles, “Affleck became hostile and aggressive,” according to the complaint. “He violently grabbed (White’s) arm in an effort to intimidate her into staying.” When she refused, “Affleck continued his abusive conduct by sending her abusive text messages and calling her profane names for refusing to stay with him,” White alleges.

White says she repeatedly informed Affleck that she was upset and that she would stop working on the film if she didn’t get her US$50,000 producing deal in writing. Shortly thereafter, the production’s attorney David Weber (of the talent firm Sloane Offer Weber & Dern), allegedly entered into settlement discussions with her. But in September 2009, Weber allegedly began taking a more negative tone with her. White says she then realized she wouldn’t be paid and quit the movie.

“Affleck refused to compensate (White) as agreed because she objected to his harassing and abusive conduct, and because she refused to share his hotel room during the shoot in San Francisco,” the complaint alleges. “Affleck encouraged and participated in the harassment of (White) and Gorka for his own twisted gratification; indeed, on information and belief, virtually none of the acts complained of herein are contained in the film that will be shown to the public.”

The 19-page lawsuit, filed by attorneys Skip Miller and Brian Procel of Los Angeles firm Miller Barondess, demands at least US$2 million for sexual harassment, retaliation, failure to prevent harassment/retaliation, constructive discharge in violation of public policy, breach of oral contract, unjust enrichment, and negligent and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Defendants are Affleck and production company Flemmy Prods.

Affleck, who’s currently on screen as a murderous sociopath in The Killer Inside Me, is in negotiations to star in Fox Searchlight’s romantic comedy The F-Word.

Lindsay Lohans Lonely but Sad Weekend Behind Bars

in NEWS

Getting settled into her temporary digs at the Century Regional Detention Facility, Lindsay Lohan is lined up for quite the lonely weekend behind bars.

Having been taken into custody on Tuesday morning (July 20), the “Mean Girls” starlet has already used up her allotted visits for the week – as her mother, Dina, and former girlfriend, Samantha Ronson, came to see her over the past few days.

Talking about jail protocol, Steve Whitmore told press, “Inmates are allowed two 30 minute visits a week, from family and friends. Those don’t include professional visits by attorneys. Ms. Lohan already has had her two thirty minute visits for the week.”

And while inmates are usually required to have their visitors show up on weekends, LiLo got the weekday treatment over jail safety concerns.

Whitmore tells, “Ms. Lohan was allowed the visits during the week for security reasons.”

As for her upcoming outlook, the latest reports tell that Lindsay will most likely be released in early August before being let loose for the probation department to keep tabs on.

John Gotti’s Grandson Attacks Rick Ross!!!

by Charles Christmas ( The Owner ) on July 22, 2010 · 0 comments

in NEWS

Rick Ross can not seem to get any love from any of the REAL gangsters of America.

Previously it was ex drug king pin Ricky “Freeway” Ross who took legal action against the rapper for profiting off his name. Now it is the grandson of the late John Gotti, who is putting Rick Ross on blast. Here is what New York Daily News reported…

Quote:
Gotti’s grandson, Carmine Agnello, has publicly attacked rapper Rick Ross for naming his new album Teflon Don and said permission should have been requested to use the convict’s nickname.

“He should have asked for permission. A stand-up, respectable guy would come and ask ‘If I could use the nickname,’

“I think he’s a great artist, but you can’t just start calling yourself that to sell records. He wants to go for that whole image, but hey, be yourself. Only in America can you go from being a corrections officer to calling yourself Teflon Don.”

Careful Rick, Italian mobsters are not the kind of people to want to upset.
